I've been playing guitar and teaching guitar lessons in San Diego for a long time.
It was fun making up songs, and remembering them... developing them into more interesting pieces. I wrote songs when I was a kid too, there was this electronic keyboard that had pre-recorded beats on it. So I wrote a bunch of really nasty songs and recorded them in my portable stereo player.
When the kids in my neighborhood taking guitar lessons in San Diego all got into music, we were listening to the punk bands from San Diego that were big at the time. Blink-182, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Smashmouth, Limp Bizkit, Nine Inch Nails, The Offspring... I still think they're pretty cool bands. All the best bands come from San Diego, just like the best Guitar Lessons in San Diego!
At some point, I got pretty good at playing guitar (especially since I was taking guitar lessons in San Diego). I think that's when I got into the heavy metal stuff because there were a lot more difficult songs to play. So we're talkin Pantera, Metallica, Slayer, Avenged Sevenfold, Buckethead, Guns and Roses... but I was also influenced by softer, more melodic music like Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Jefferson Airplane, Kansas, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Grateful Dead...
Well, all this came to a halt when I discovered real music.
When I started to get into the progressive rock bands like (Mars Volta, King Crimson, Mahavishnu Orchestra, Cynic, Polyphia) it was really hard to go back to normal music. I've been trying to create the most intense music ever since.
I have found a few tricky secrets here and there.
Now the point is, I'm not just thinking about San Diego Guitar Lessons the whole time. I'm also evaluating all the musical instruments involved. I've been through different phases of genres as well, including rap music and classical music and drumming. I truly believe the best music from San Diego Guitar Lessons is a fusion of many different types of elements.
Too many genres tend to be too 'specific'. Then all their songs sound the same...
Each instrument has a different way of thinking. When I noticed this, I started to apply the same principles to guitar playing, and ended up with an entirely new approach. Let me show you how to unlock the long lost, and dying art of electric guitar lessons in San Diego...
